Background
Global Marine Electronics provides repair and inspection services for navigation equipment aboard commercial vessels at the Panama Canal and throughout Latin America. We offer 24 hours service. The company was formed in 1999 when we bought the Marine Services Department from Electrónico Balboa, S.A. (founded in 1956).

Global Marine Electronics services and installs S- and X-band Radars, Voyage Data Recorders (VDRs), Master Gyrocompass Systems, Magnetic Compass Systems, Electronic Charts & Display Information Systems (ECDIS), Autopilots, Rudder Control Instrumentation, Speed Logs, MF/HF/VHF Marine Radios, Course Recorders, and Automatic Identification Systems (AIS).
